As we approach the festive season Art84 presented us with a successful and exciting Christmas Art Exhibition and Crafts held on the 28th and 29th of November 2025. Friday night kicked off with lights and vibrant music that brought about a festive mood and energy. The atmosphere was very jovial with exhibitors showcasing their uniquely handmade products.
On Saturday, a total of 48 talented exhibitors had their products on display and the neighborhood flocked to the event to support the local artisans. The products exhibited included animal art engraved T-shirts and matching caps, well-designed tonga display baskets, breathtaking framed drawings and art paint, jewelry of all kinds, African grater plates and handpainted dinner plates, to mention a few.
What captured my attention most was the artisan who recycled products to make exciting stories through his art. For instance, he made a board with grannies in a circle dancing 💃 using wire , bottle tops and empty sweets papers to mention just a few. His work was full of beautiful stories and you could see and feel the energy as one nana joked that she was the one dancing. The energy was just transferable.
It was a weekend of art, craft and major festive feels, a great spot to snag something special or just soak up the creative energy.
